We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Elkader Care Center as an Admin Assistant/Payroll/HR. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our facility and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care.

Position Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will handle all general Facility/Community administrative tasks, such as directing communications between colleagues, Residents/Tenants, and families. This position handles confidential employee and Resident/Tenant information and must be able maintain that information in a professional manner. This position also handles basic HR functions such as onboarding new employees, payroll, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Handle payroll processing, including data entry and verification
• Provide administrative support to the executive team and department heads
• Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and handle correspondence
• Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
• Manage human resources tasks such as employee onboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
• Assist with Business Office functions and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an administrative role preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
